Once upon a time, thermal linings had to be tucked away, removed and wedged inside the top case never to be seen again. The Solar 3 by REV’IT! almost revisits that statement.
Light-weight and excellently insulated, a padded jacket or a ‘puffy’ if you prefer, lined with synthetic Primaloft® Silver down, this is an intermediate layer that shouldn’t be hidden and that you wouldn’t want to hide. The Solar 3 can be stored very compactly and eliminates too many zips, hooks, loops and attachments. Those were convenient when your thermal lining had to be invisible but this is the other way around. You simply wear this underneath your motorcycle jacket. You can wear them both together or each separately.
The primary feature of the Solar 3 is that the Primaloft® Silver ensures proper, pleasant, body temperature insulation. Apart from a piece of softshell on the chest pocket, the jacket is entirely made of polyester. The two zippable slash pockets are a great addition to the available storage space while riding.
Or not only while riding, but because it is fun to wear.
