Motul is a manufacturer for lovers of the better product. Their high quality products are used in the racing scene for a reason. They are developed with the latest technology and extensively tested to proof their quality in the most demanding circumstances.
Motul Motocool Expert with hybrid technology is a ready-to-use radiator fluid for closed cooling circuits and specially for motorcycles. You can use it all year round in all motorcycles. No water dilution is required: this is a ready-to-use (yellow) coolant. It prevents limescale deposits and the special hybrid technology ensures perfect heat exchange and better performance.
Motul always focuses on corrosion protection and it's no different here. The seals and hoses of the cooling system are also kept in good shape. Motul Motocool is a very stable product which reduces the operating temperature of your engine. At constant stops and starts Motul Motocool even leads to better cooling.
Motul Motocool is miscible with all coolants (organic and mineral).
What does the cooling system do?
The cooling system is an important part of your motorcycle.
It ensures that your engine, which heats up when running, does not overheat. An overheated engine will be damaged, and can even, at worst, seize up. For an optimal functioning cooling system it is therefore
important that you use a good coolant.
Why use a coolant?
You may have heard it said that you might as well use demineralised water in your motorcycle, as coolant is 'no more than' demineralised water with a few additives. Of course, it
is much more than that. It is true that on racing tracks demineralised water is sometimes used instead of coolant, but that has only one reason. This is to prevent slippery coolant ending up on the track, in case of a crash. In roadbikes, and also in a track bike that doesn't have to comply to a race regulation, you always use proper coolant. The cooling circuit of a racing motorcycle is emptied and cleaned during the winter season, which is not the case with most motorcycles. Water can cause a lot of damage like corrosion and limescale, and a frozen water-filled pipe may also burst.
