This motorcycle helmet comes standard with a clear visor. Tinted and mirrored visors are available as an option, although the (supplied) images may suggest otherwise.
This SCORPION EXO-930 EVO is the most recent version of this motorcycle helmet and like many helmets today, that’s the version that complies with the ECE 22-06 regulation.
SCORPION still produces the EXO-930 EVO in polycarbonate, with two helmet shells containing all motorcycle helmet sizes. The top ventilation slider can be easily operated with or without gloves. There’s also the option to guzzle more air thanks to the ventilation in the chin piece.
This price-conscious motorcycle helmet has a double homologation, revealing it as a genuine ‘traveller’. Versatile touring is evident. Scootering is no issue either because the chin piece can easily be removed.
The double P/J homologation – as a full-fledged full-face helmet and an equally full-fledged jet helmet – is interesting and well-thought-out. Pay special attention to the P button behind the left hinge point of the visor: this locks the flipped-up chin guard into that position. We think that’s inspired.
The transparent standard visor is Pinlock®ready with a Maxvision attachment, which can be found in the box. With the term ‘Speedview’, Scorpion is looking towards an integrated sun visor. That slider can be found at the bottom left.

For maintenance of this helmet we recommend S100 helmet and visor cleaner for the exterior. For cleaning the interior without removing it, you can use S100 helmet interior cleaner. New visors have received a water-repellent treatment. This treatment is less effective after some time. Restore the water-repellent effect with Rain-X anti-rain spray.
Safety above all! Never ride with a scratched or dull visor. Especially at night, scratches cause blinding reflections from street lights and headlights of oncoming vehicles. This effect is even more pronounced in rainy weather. It is best to replace a scratched or dull visor as soon as possible. Planning a longer trip? Then don't forget to bring a replacement visor with you. Never ride in the dark with a tinted visor.
