The inspiration for the successor of the G-Force – this G-Force 2 – still doesn’t come from physics books but from the paddock. More precisely, the MotoGP or the WSBK Championship paddock. Sporty, leather, ventilated, tight motorcycle shoes – we couldn’t explain it more briefly it we wanted to.
The apparently leather exterior is what stands out here, although a large part of it is actually (more flexible) microfibre with a PU layer. It matches the sporty link. G-Force 2 motorcycle shoes do not try to hide their sporty vision of life. However, where in general, MotoGP boots don’t excel in stepping comfort, these high-performance motorcycle shoes do. Without abolishing their safety features, no less. To choose is to lose, usually. In this case, that’s up for debate. The comfort of a sporting shoe with an integrated preshaped heel and toe protector, as well as a SEESOFT® ankle cup and reinforced walls? All of a quality that’s high enough to be able to spur on their steel horse without a worry in the world? It’s an artform.
Thanks to its anatomical footbed, the G-Force 2 is still comfortable on the ground, even after a little hike. For the sake of completeness and because it’s an impressive list, let’s recapitulate: imitation leather, PU, microfibre, suede, mesh, TPU film, reflective material and rubber for the gear panel.
You open and close them with laces, of which the loops can be neatly hidden away behind the strap that is kept in place with Velcro. Another feature are the Achilles-friendly zones in the back.
The tongue of the shoe is perforated which means that these motorcycle shoes belong in the summer season, revealing their one and only, small imperfection: they are not waterproof. Then again, the perfect solution to that is the G-Force 2 H2O. Or even the mesh version, the G-Force 2 Air.
