The inspiration for the successor of the G-Force H2O – this G-Force 2 H2O – still doesn’t come from physics books but from the paddock. More precisely, the MotoGP or the WSBK Championship paddock. Sporty, leather, ventilated, tight motorcycle shoes – we couldn’t explain it more briefly it we wanted to.
This is the waterproof version of the G-Force H2O. There’s also a (more summery) version that isn’t waterproof and for those of you who are on a hot streak, there’s also the mesh G-Force 2 Air motorcycle shoes. For the ladies, you have your own version at your disposal: the G-Force 2 Lady.
The apparently leather exterior is what stands out here, although a large part of it is actually (more flexible) microfibre with a PU layer. It matches the sporty link. G-Force 2 H2O motorcycle shoes do not try to hide their sporty vision of life. However, where in general, MotoGP boots don’t excel in stepping comfort, these high-performance motorcycle shoes do. Without abolishing their safety features, no less. To choose is to lose, usually. In this case, that’s up for debate. The comfort of a sporting shoe with an integrated preshaped heel and toe protector, as well as a SEESOFT® ankle cup and reinforced walls? All of a quality that’s high enough to be able to spur on their steel horse without a worry in the world? It’s an artform.
Thanks to its anatomical footbed, the G-Force 2 H2O is still comfortable on the ground, even after a little hike. For the sake of completeness and because it’s an impressive list, let’s recapitulate: imitation leather, PU, microfibre, suede, mesh, TPU film, reflective material and rubber for the gear panel.
You open and close them with laces, of which the loops can be neatly hidden away behind the strap that is kept in place with Velcro. Another feature are the Achilles-friendly zones in the back.
It’s clear that these motorcycle shoes will offer some resistance against splashing water, however, with shoes that are ankle-high, ambitions shouldn’t be sky high.
