It’s slowly becoming an impressive little club including all the G-Force motorcycle gloves by REV’IT!. This G-Force 2 Air is the lightest member, which is exactly what makes this completely ventilated, Jacquard woven motorcycle shoe such a heavyweight in its class.
The inspiration for the successor of the G-Force Air – this G-Force 2 Air – still comes from the paddock. More precisely, the MotoGP or the WSBK Championship paddock. Sporty, super-ventilated, tight motorcycle shoes – we couldn’t explain it more briefly it we wanted to.
This is the most permeable and least waterproof version of the G-Force series. There are also waterproof versions, as well as a ‘regular’ summer version, and a lady’s version.
The woven TPU exterior is what stands out here. Its function is clear: this motorcycle shoe is all ventilation. And for those who seem to recognise the weaving technique – ‘Jacquard’ – they are right: the Epsilon motorcycle jacket applied it, with excellent results. This reeks of a potential connection…
In both cases does it match the sporty link. G-Force 2 Air motorcycle shoes do not make any effort to hide their sporty outlook on life. However, where in general, MotoGP boots don’t excel in stepping comfort, these high-performance motorcycle shoes do. Without abolishing their safety features, no less. To choose is to lose, usually. In this case, that’s up for debate. The comfort of a sporting shoe with an integrated preshaped heel and toe protector, as well as a SEESOFT® ankle cup and reinforced walls? All of a quality that’s high enough to be able to spur on your steel horse without a worry in the world? It’s an artform.
Thanks to its anatomical footbed, the G-Force 2 Air is still comfortable on the ground, even after a little hike. For the sake of completeness and because it’s an impressive list, let’s recapitulate: imitation leather, PU, microfibre, suede, mesh, TPU film, reflective material and rubber for the gear panel.
You open and close them with laces, of which the loops can be neatly hidden away behind the strap that is kept in place with Velcro. Another feature are the Achilles-friendly zones in the back.
