The Mosca 2 H2O is the successor to the – membrane equipped – Mosca H2O, which was one of the most popular and better quality mid-season REV’IT! motorcycle gloves. This is like driving a convertible and then being overwhelmed by a rain shower mid journey – and not caring one bit.
The Mosca 2 H2O is still that motorcycle glove that is practical as well as necessary. Light, breezy, sharp, sufficiently sturdy, reasonably priced and with a waterproof membrane; what else does a person need? A number of small improvements compared to the original version, maybe?
REV’IT! now uses SEESOFT® as knuckle protector which obviously rings a bell because this is also the impact protection used in motorcycle jackets and motorcycle trousers. The result is a less rigid motorcycle glove, also because the combination with the Ortholite® foam – exactly, used in motorcycle shoes – seems to work perfectly on the fingers and palm of the hand.
The waterproof properties are what categorise the Mosca 2 H2O in the section of motorcycle gloves used mid-season. At first glance, you’d think these are summer motorcycle gloves; the practical reality will – with heated grips, no doubt – extend into the other direction quite a bit.
