In these trousers, sporty femininity and a razor-sharp design are linked with a high dosage of flexibility and safety, which will take you quite far. Do not expect any removable linings, ventilation openings (notwithstanding the perforated leather) or any waterproof properties. What you can expect is comfort, flexibility and safety.
The foundation of the pants is cowhide, supplemented with large panels of PWR|SHELL stretch on the pant legs – where it counts. The latter obviously bodes well for flexibility and wearing comfort. SEEFLEX™ CE-level 2 knee protectors come standard, as do the ultra-thin CE-certified SEESMART™ hip protectors. The adjustable protector pocket allows repositioning of each protector at will.
Hitting the tracks obviously means knee-sliders (sold separately). These can easily be replaced by leather patches for that Sunday ride. This also shows that these Xena 4 motorcycle pants are mostly aimed at street-legal use and not at breaking lap records.
Thanks to the zip at the bottom of the pant legs, getting in them is automatic. A Velcro strip covers the zipper. The backside of the trousers are finished longer and have accordion fabric. On a fast bike, your sitting position is more leaned forward, which means your lower back has to remain sufficiently covered.
There are a couple of adjustment options, not in the least thanks to the presence of two elasticated straps around the waist. You can adapt at will with the straps that are adjustable in length and outfitted with Velcro. A decent closure guarantees that trousers that are closed, remain closed. A connecting zip gives you the opportunity to combine these pants with a motorcycle jacket.
