The Torque 2 H2O is the ideal (summer) jacket to deal with all the unexpected. As a commuter you never know what's in store for you that day. Et voilà: the Torque 2 H2O. A mesh jacket with a pleasant feeling, waterproof - removable - membrane. A number of adjustments make this '2' a better version than the original.
By the way: as a traveler, touring rider or just a motorcyclist who rides from terrace to terrace, you never know what's in store for you. A lot can change in a hundred kilometers. The exterior consists of mesh, completed with abrasion-resistant 600D polyester and a few stripes of reflective material. Lighter is hardly possible, as long as you want to ride safely and securely. The outer shell of the Torque 2 H2O is the motorcycle jacket you wear when it's too hot to wear a motorcycle jacket. One and all breathability, only here and there interrupted by a minimum of fabric, because you simply need a zipper, a collar and sleeves.
And it's safe, because it features a pair of SEESMART™ CE Level 1 protectors on the shoulders and elbows. They excel in wearing comfort and flexible sophistication. To be clear, they are not meant to be used on the race track, but that goes for the Torque H2O in general. This is in the first place a city dweller, a stroller, a bit of a tourist too. Underneath we find the removable hydratex@G liner: waterproof, light and breathable. And extremely useful if you are caught out by a shower or a cold front. It has to be said that REV'IT has succeeded in raising the level of the membrane, which was once a piece of refined plastic. It actually becomes a pleasant element.
Even though the fit of the Torque 2 H2O is still not very sharp, the cut is a bit tighter. Or more modern. REV'IT doesn't like flapping sails anyway, they want them to fit well, and the Torque H2O is no exception. It feels a bit like coming home this way, and it inspires confidence.
You can make some adjustments yourself, thanks to the velcro strips with loop on the waist, the press buttons on the upper arms and the velcro strips on the sleeve ends. Two zippered side pockets and an inner pocket provide the necessary storage space.
The Torque 2 H2O has no connection zipper, but does have a double Belt Loop. The combination with a good pair of motorcycle jeans seems an obvious choice.
