The Pro-Armor 2.0 level 2 back protector is ‘loose’ protective material that can be integrated in all the DAINESE motorcycle clothing. It only takes a compartment for a back protector.
The perforated structure keeps its weight at bay, delivering a relatively flexible result. It is always the intention to integrate a rigid, additional structure, however, the perforations – eliminating almost 43% of the surface – mitigate that rigidity, helping at the same time to allow ventilation and wearing comfort to be brought to a higher level under all circumstances.
The Pro-Armor by DAINESE is a successful product with many excellent years of service. In this 2.0 version, the Italians have used expanded nitrile rubber Xelion 2.0 as base material. This creates a dynamic thickness and an anatomic shape that allows for sufficient flexion lengthwise: you are still able to move freely, and the odds of your back collapsing on itself are diminished substantially.
A proper pattern, the right materials, lots of ventilation and a light weight: this is excellent impact protection. The red speed demon is a fun little extra, even though when used correctly you will hardly ever see him.
Protectors are reusable, even after a crash, and can easily be washed and maintained. In this case, G2 stands for the relatively longer version used in the DAINESE sizing table.
