Suitable for tyres widths of 90-130 mm
Suitable for 10-19 inches diameter wheels
Fastening your motorcycle rock-solid on a trailer or in a van, can be easily and reliably done with the Acebikes Steadystand. This wheel clamp makes clever use of gravity: ride the front wheel of the motorcycle in the clamp and let it anchor itself with its own weight. Then you can easily secure the bike with straps on your own, without fearing it will fall over.
This model is specifically designed to be mounted in the floor of a trailer or van. The wheel clamp can be assembled in two different ways: with the attachment points facing outwards for a wider base (210 mm), or with the attachment points inwards for a narrower base (156 mm). The weight remains the same in both setups, at 5kg.
This Steadystand is suitable for tyres from 90-130 mm wide and wheel sizes from 10-19 inch.
Choosing the right wheel clamp for your motorcycle is much easier than it seems. There are only two things to take into account: the width of the front tyre and the diameter of your front wheel. And these two measurements can be read off the tyre. Each motorcycle tyre is marked with a similar code, like on the example below:
The code contains a lot of information, but the only thing you need to know in order to choose to choose the right wheel clamp, is:
- The width of the tyre, expressed in mm. In the example it is 110 mm.
- The diameter of the wheel, expressed in inches. In the example it is 19 inches.
