Just like the numbers go up (10, 20, 30K…), that’s how the options of each new SENA-system increase. This means that this ‘50’ version – together with the 50S – is the crème de la crème; for now. The absolute best when it comes to motorcycle intercom systems.
The SENA 50 comes in the SENA 50R and the SENA 50S, with a difference in attachment and design, with the corresponding controls.
Whoever prefers a +/- control set with two buttons will prefer the SENA 50R. You don’t attach this one inside a holder but place it directly onto your helmet, perhaps removable if you use Velcro.
The SENA 50R and SENA 50S both got new Harman Kardon speakers, can connect to no less than 24 riders at the same time in Mesh Intercom and use Bluetooth 5 by default, another warranty for fast, faster, fastest. And stable, stable, stable.
There’s a new ‘Wi-Fi cable’ included in the package. This means that there’s an extra module in the charging cable that automatically downloads updates while the device is charging. Fast-charging. A one-time Wi-Fi connection will do.
Further, SENA builds on the trusted concept that – just to be sure – has always been top-class. Just like technology evolves, that’s how SENA innovates; which for now leads us to the 50R. Something tells us, this is not the end of the line.
The 50R is available as a Single or Dual kit.
General note: The world of electronics (which also includes intercoms, smartphones, GPS, etc.) changes so quickly that it is possible that some (outdated) devices are not compatible with each other in certain areas. Unfortunately, the manufacturer can't provide us with data that shows which combinations between intercoms/GPS's and/or smartphones cause problems. A regular update of all electronic devices is therefore desirable to avoid problems as much as possible.
