Givi's universal Easy Range saddlebags offer additional storage space on motorcycles not fitted with standard fixed racks and/or panniers. They are easy and practical to attach and can be removed in no time at all.
Every side bag has an extra storage compartment on the outside. Small items that you want to keep close at hand can find a place here, but beware: this compartment cannot be locked. The spacious main storage compartment, however, is equipped with a long zipper with two pulls that can be locked. Bring the openings of the pullers together, and lock the side bags with a combination padlock. The central storage compartment isn't divided internally.
The Givi Easy Range side bags are made of 600D polyester with reinforced side walls and equipped with anti-slip material on the inside. Scratches or damage to the motorcycle are thus avoided.
RAD tip: if the motorcycle or scooter has an outward protruding body shape below the seat, we recommend the use of a transparent plastic foil.
The side bags are easy to attach by means of three adjustable straps under the saddle: two velcro strips flank a belt with buckle. The included elastic straps provide extra security. The also included black rain cover keeps the contents of the bags dry. In case of a stopover, the handles and included shoulder straps allow for easy transportation of the bags. Reflective details increase your visibility at night.
You can reinforce the side walls with plastic inserts, something that is especially useful after unfolding. Each bag has a standard volume of 12 litres, measuring 47 cm x 18 cm x 29 cm. The width can be increased to 28 cm by means of a zipper, immediately providing a few extra litres of storage space. Both side panniers can safely hold up to 30 litres of luggage.
Attention: after mounting the bag it's best to take a ruler and check if there is enough space for the exhaust pipes. The bags should remain 15-20 cm from the exhaust openings. Meanwhile, check whether the distance between the bags and the hot exhausts is at least 5 cm. And remember that with a passenger, the rear spring will be compressed a little further.
Everything in order? Have a good trip!
