These after-market cheek pads for the SHOEI GT-Air 3 (and only for this) are to replace the original cheek pads in your motorcycle helmet. Or more accurately: in your SHOEI GT-Air 3.
Why are cushions replaced in a motorcycle helmet? There are two reasons for this.
The first could be wear and tear: a cheek pad that loses resilience and therefore becomes thinner than it was in the first place causes play. And although we like sports and games, with our motorcycle helmet we prefer a certain standard on which we can continue to count. Replacing a set of cheek pads is easy and afterwards you can safely get back on the road.
A second reason could be that - despite the available sizes - you don't find the perfect motorcycle helmet. In that case, an adjustment of the cheek pads can provide just enough optimization to get the whole picture right.
Below you'll find a table to help you find the right cheek pads. In the second column you will find the standard thickness of the helmet per size. In the column next to it you can see in which helmet size or sizes this thickness fits. If there is an 'All' in this column, then this thickness fits in every helmet size.
