This relatively large, wind-blocking and yet breathing collar must be the ultimate protection against cold, wind and rain.
The Freeze 3 WB is made of – brace yourself – the patented REV’IT! hydratex|WindBarrier 3L softshell material. Light, breathing, soft and snug fitting because stretch. The WindBarrier membrane is laminated between two separate layers of fabric: a stretchy outer layer and a soft fleece layer. This combination blocks wind and repels water. Barring wind and rain prevents hypothermia, increases comfort and stimulates temperature regulation.
The construction uses overlock seams in order to interlock all the seams increasing once again the comfort level. The fit is ergonomic with the benefit that the Freeze 3 WB always covers and protects the lower half of your face and part of your chest. There’s a mesh part at the nose for easy breathing. You obviously get less margin than with a scarf but believe us when we say you’ll never consider that difference.
