The Potential GTX motorcycle trousers fit the namesake motorcycle jacket (almost) seamlessly. The combination that arises from that is somewhere between ‘adventure’ and ‘urban’, which is exactly its intent.
REV’IT! chose a minimalistic and tight design for the Potential GTX combined with a large number of functionalities (adventure) hidden in that urban look, while integrating a sense of speed (sportiness). They even pull it off, thanks to the specific Z-liner construction with GORE-TEX.
There are a number of options to keep motorcycle trousers – and a motorcycle jacket – watertight: not with loose membranes but with a laminated exterior or underneath a plastic bag. A Z-liner is not laminated and cannot be removed. The waterproof membrane is placed ‘loose’ between the exterior and the lining which has the advantage of visual freedom while using any material you want.
With the Potential GTX, the combination of ripstop and twill stretch delivers a tight design. It even reminds us of softshell, which explains why the visual asset shifts the look from adventure to city. Nonetheless: lightweight, sturdy, wear-resistant, equipped with SEESMART CE-level 1 impact protection on the knees and the option to fit in a pair of SEESMART hip protectors. When we tell you that even the thermal lining is removable, then what else is stopping you? Lots of potential in the Potential GTX.
Oh, and the sporty element? The Potential GTX is contoured and cut like motorcycle racing trousers. Slim fit, second skin and a lot more stretch and hence comfort than you’d expect from traditional, often leather motorcycle trousers. More options, too. A little thing we like to call potential.
The Potential GTX is ready to be fitted with Strapper suspenders. These motorcycle trousers are available in short and long versions.
