Don’t be fooled; these are no 2-in-1s. These are two pairs of autonomous and complete motorcycle trousers that become ‘bulletproof’ when combined. Combined with their namesake motorcycle jacket, the Tectonic H2O motorcycle trousers form an impressive combo.
Buying the Tectonic H2O actually means you’re investing in two pairs of motorcycle (over) trousers, with each layer achieving their specific goal. By combining them with additional base layers and/or thermal layers, you can’t really go wrong anymore. The Tectonic H2O motorcycle trousers consist of an outer layer – independently wearable motorcycle over trousers with full-length zippers on the legs – in laminated ripstop with a hydratex membrane with another pair of complete motorcycle trousers underneath that exude ambitions that are more summer-oriented. The outer layer is B-certified, the underlayer contains the impact protection and is awarded a AA-certification, which means that both layers can be worn autonomously.
The mesh motorcycle trousers are composed of several mesh materials. Wear-resistant, abrasion-resistant, ventilation at its best. The lower legs are equipped with additional leather panels to ensure sufficient grip and contact with your motorcycle. Above the knees it does resemble chain mail a little, except that in these you can move around freely. At the bottom, the inner layer slides into your motorcycle boots and it is this layer that contains the SEESOFT® and SEEFLEX® impact protectors. This keeps them close to the body, optimising the comfort and safety levels.
In short, the laminated outer layer contains ripstop and waterproof hydratex: wind and waterproof at high level, with sufficient breathable properties to keep everything pleasant and comfortable.
Apart from this unique concept, the Tectonic H2O motorcycle trousers are of top level; whether you are assessing the number of pockets or zooming in on the neatly integrated belt and Microlock buckle, everything has been designed and produced with lots of eye for detail and sophistication. Top class, without a doubt!
