This version of the OptiMate 4 Quad Program is the most complete battery charger you’ll find in the market today.
How so? There’s also a PREMIUM version of the same device; isn’t that even better? Well, the premium version has the 12V DIN connection preferred by most BMW and Triumph owners, even though for longer charging times it is always recommended to charge directly via the battery and with the O-ring. The 12V DIN is just a little too overbearing for your motorcycle’s electronics and is better suited for shorter charging sessions in-between the longer ones. So, even BMW and Triumph owners fare well with this OptiMate 4 Quad Program.
The OptiMate 4 Quad Program bundles just about every piece of OptiMate technology for charging motorcycle batteries into one package, allowing easy maintenance on the high-technological 12V/12.8V battery of your BMW or Triumph as well as any other motorcycle battery you wish to supply with power directly. Lead-acid or lithium, it doesn’t make a difference for the OptiMate 4.
Or better: of course, there’s a difference but the OptiMate 4 Quad Program can handle it.
The automatic activation, continued maintenance up until the charger is disconnected, safe low voltage pulse desulphation … All the traditional elements were maintained and complemented with software improvements and a more transparent layout. The efficient power circuit now delivers a 1.25 ampere charging current.
The completely automated 9-step program secures safe and complete battery charging. Make a selection based on battery type – 12V lead-acid or 12.8V/13.2V lithium LFP (LiFePO4) – and charging requirement and then simply rely on the OptiMate 4 Quad program to take care of the rest.

The package contents cover almost everything, including a water-resistant battery cable, a battery clamp set and a mounting hook.
The OptiMate 4 Quad program runs a test before and after charging and is able to revive completely drained lead-acid and lithium batteries (LiFePO4) that are as low as 0.5V.
You can use this device indoors as well as outdoors. The weather-resistant housing with wall mounting has a 180-cm AC power cable and a 180-cm charging cable with SAE connection.
There is no risk of overcharging. This OptiMate 4 Quad Program is safe for vehicle electronics, suppresses sparks and can be used for long-term battery maintenance. The device shuts down automatically in the event of short-circuiting or disconnection from the battery.
