This already third version of this versatile motorcycle glove is still an excellent all-rounder. The short cuff is one of the remarkable features of these waterproof mid-season motorcycle gloves.
The predominantly leather and therefore hardwearing construction is supported by stretch panels where needed. These offer more comfort and ensure an excellent fit. Underneath the leather, Alpinestars has hidden a waterproof and breathing Drystar membrane that arms the Belize V3 against all sorts of weather conditions while making sure the motorcyclist’s hands stay dry.
All the while, the latter has no issue controlling the handlebars. The contoured fingers and the specific construction of the Belize V3 provide – once again – a comfortable riding experience. The short cuff does require you to wear the sleeves of your motorcycle jacket over the motorcycle gloves or there might even be a small gap.
Compared to the earlier Belize motorcycle gloves, this Belize V3 Drystar seems to have stepped away from a number of typical racing traits. The sense of adventure has remained. As has proper impact protection. The leather palm was reinforced on the sides by a perforated, leather panel and there’s an additional layer in the ball of the hand. TPU reinforcement on the fingers and a solid knuckle protector inspire confidence.
The touchscreen fingertips are compatible with just about every GPS or smartphone screen while the reflective accent remains rather subtle during the day.
You close the short cuff by means of a Velcro strip.
