The half-long – or rather half-short – Crestone GORE-TEX motorcycle gloves are waterproof touring motorcycle gloves with a warm lining.
The back is made of materials such as Oxford nylon, which means: fabric, supplemented with well-placed stretch panels. The result is lots of comfort and an excellent fit. Turn over the Crestone GORE-TEX motorcycle gloves and you’ll see that the palm is made of leather. Also present, however not that visible, is the GORE-TEX construction underneath that outer layer and the GORE GRIP that ensures proper steering contact and lots of grip. The light-weight, breathing PrimaLoft® SILVER Insulation Active lining placed on top helps your hands stay warm.
Lots of it is winter material and still Alpinestars went for a relatively short cuff for the Crestone GORE-TEX motorcycle gloves. This is something to take into account when you are used to wearing the sleeves of your motorcycle jacket under your motorcycle gloves. If you prefer it the other way around, then the Crestone GORE-TEX motorcycle gloves are ideal for you. The cuff connects to the wrist really well.
Alpinestars has tons of circuit experience and even though the Crestone GORE-TEX are genuine touring motorcycle gloves, the fingers are still shaped and the implemented reinforcements stand out. There’s a layer of foam in the palm of the hand, as there is on the fingers and thumb. You’ll feel the SP knuckle protector and the leather palm, always a warranty for wear-resistance.
The touchscreen-sensitive, artificial leather inserts on thumb and index finger allow you to operate touchscreens.
The reflective material is subtle and effective.
