The Jaydn motorcycle jeans are contoured tapered regular fit jeans that link lots of comfort to proper protection. Exactly what motorcycle jeans are supposed to do.
The sturdy and weighty Jaydn are mainly an outer denim layer, that contains 2% of elastane which is sufficient to create a stretchy unit. Naturally, the denim is wear and tear-resistant, which gives these motorcycle trousers the appearance of ‘regular’ jeans pants. It didn’t use to be like that in this category of motorcycle clothing. Holding the Jaydn motorcycle jeans out in front of you does seem to show a gap the size of a motorcycle between the pant legs. The preshaped construction helps to create maximum comfort in that typical, most logical sitting position on a motorcycle.
Underneath that outer layer – on the knees, the seat and the hips – there are cleverly-positioned Kevlar inserts. They are largely responsible for the Jaydn’s class AA certification. Not exclusively, because you definitely notice the FLYING BATS protectors on the hips and knees. Better yet: you’ll notice they’re there but their flexibility makes them very comfortable to have around. The Velcro strips on the inside of the motorcycle trousers, at the knees, allow you to position the protectors at will.
The tapered regular fit means that the Jaydn sticks to pant legs that at the bottom are almost as wide as at the top. You’ll need to measure it to know it. By the way, flipping over the bottom of the pant leg will expose an additional reflective element.
Nonetheless, the Jaydn look like regular jeans with five pockets and the traditional zip-and-button closure to accentuate this.
