The new aluminium Outback Evo Smart cases are sold WITHOUT Smart Security Lock. Without lock? Yes indeed. You buy the locks separately and fit them yourself. Don't worry: it is no problem, the system is designed for it. GIVI chose the innovative, safe ‘Smart Security Lock’ because it allows you to easily operate your entire Outback EVO pannier set with a single key.

This case has a series of optional accessories:

• Reflective stickers: to make you more visible in the dark, a set of E145 reflective stickers is available. In vertical position, they fit perfectly on the flattened corners of these cases.
• Cargo bag: on top of this Outback Trekker, an additional cargo bag GRT714B or EA120 can be mounted with a set of tension straps S351. Besides the GRT714B, there's another kart bag available: the XL01B.
• Luggage nets: use the space that the trunk lid has to offer inside. Mount a luggage net E144 in it and store many small items. On top of this case, the luggage net T10Z can be easily attached.
• A backpack: T521 with a capacity of 15 litres that can be stored in the upper tray of the case.

Care instructions: as this case is made of aluminium, it requires slightly more maintenance than a plastic case. For cleaning these cases we recommend S100 Moto Wash. NEVER use maintenance products that contain acids or other corrosive substances. Such products cause dark stains which are very difficult to remove afterwards.

Watertightness: the GIVI side cases and top cases are not waterproof. They were awarded an IPX4 rating. Having the right expectations always helps prevent disappointment.
