The Alpinestars Faster 4 family continues to grow, and with this fourth version of the versatile and technically advanced motorcycle shoe, expectations are naturally high.
Alpinestars raises the bar even further by claiming that the Faster 4 represents the culmination of “decades of R&D experience at the highest level of motorsport". Clearly, a simple "ankle-high motorcycle shoe" wouldn't suffice.
And the Faster 4 is anything but simple. This latest version showcases cutting-edge technology, designed and crafted for performance, precision, and protection. All these elements come together in a sleek and streamlined design. The exterior of the Faster 4 is a ‘construction’ rather than simply being ‘made from’ or ‘manufactured using’ specific materials. It is a carefully engineered, lightweight, and wear-resistant structure – an impressive piece of craftsmanship with a razor-sharp aesthetic. No surprise there, given that Alpinestars has earned its reputation in racing and on the track. You can see that reflected in the extensive list of features of the Faster 4.
The welded, advanced microfibre panels that form the outer shell immediately link appearance with performance. A soft textile cut-out at the Achilles tendon ensures flexibility, while ample support and padding around the ankle enhance comfort. Other notable features include a detailed yet subtle TPR toe slider, a newly designed external TPR heel slider, and an asymmetrical toe design that enables smooth gear shifts even without a pronounced shift pad. The 3D mesh lining provides excellent breathability while keeping weight to a minimum. Additional features include anti-slip microsuede on the heel, along with padding around the ankle and in the tongue of the motorcycle shoe.
In terms of protective elements, the Faster 4 is positioned at the top of its class. The toe, ankle, and heel are reinforced for added durability and impact resistance. The sole has been redesigned with a new rubber compound, offering improved texture and grip. Inside, you'll find a replaceable anatomical EVA footbed with a Lycra lining for enhanced comfort.
A traditional lace-up system ensures a secure, comfortable, and easy closure. The laces are neatly tucked away under a lateral Velcro strap with TPR. This combination allows for a perfectly customised fit.
