The Chrome Air Sport motorcycle hoodie is the summer version of the Chrome V2 Sport. A variant, then, on a theme that’s already top-notch. This is truly on Alpinestars’ level and real motorcycling gear for those who possibly prefer not to wear any.
The Chrome Air Sport motorcycle hoodie is a technical marvel of motorcycle textile. The most striking addition in this breathable version is the large panels of airflow mesh. You can’t miss them: they’ve been strategically placed on the side panels and under the sleeves, enabling optimal airflow. The rest of the exterior looks a bit like softshell material but isn’t. It’s called Tech Fleece, and it is indeed a durable, comfortable, and lightweight textile, reinforced on the inside with aramid for additional wear and tear-resistance. This ensures a strong, secure structure that allows for the integration of the mesh panels.
The Chrome Air Sport motorcycle hoodie is, overall, CE-certified Class A protective motorcycle gear, and ready to be combined with a Tech-Air airbag jacket.
This lightweight motorcycle jacket/solid motorcycle hoodie features Nucleon Flex Plus protectors on the shoulders and elbows. The impact protectors are flexible and soft, providing plenty of comfort and mobility. The back area includes a compartment where you can easily insert a Nucleon Plasma back protector (level 2 certified) or a Nucleon KR-CELLi back protector (level 1 certified) if desired. The Chrome Air Sport has a fit designed to give you a modern, athletic silhouette.
The hood has received a major makeover compared to previous Chrome versions, and even compared to other hoodies. It is no longer removable but can be fastened at the back (snap button), seamlessly integrating into the rest of the Chrome Air Sport. There are no drawstrings, and the absence of a collar in the design is compensated by a snap button at the front.
Two zippered slash pockets and a zippered inner pocket provide the necessary storage space.
This pairs perfectly with quality motorcycle sneakers and motorcycle jeans.
