This 3-in-1 Halifax motorcycle jacket offers just about every premium function and feature. Its style leans more toward adventurous touring, traveling and mainly: hours and hours of riding. Safe, comfortable and suitable for all seasons, the Halifax is high-end motorcycle clothing.
The exterior of the motorcycle jacket is made of polyester and although that doesn’t sound all too spectacular, in this case it looks like polished textile. Neat and hardwearing. The first layer hides a waterproof, removable BWTECH Extrem membrane and an equally removable Shelltech Mega thermal lining. A Fidlock ventilation system with magnetic closures allows you to ride comfortably even in summer. You can quickly flip open the wide ventilation panels while in the other case, they are neatly integrated into the motorcycle jacket.
Remarkable and quite unique is the integrated windtight belt that neatly tightens around the waist from the inside. Some sort of kidney belt, but intended to withstand the weather. The odds of you being treated to an unexpected gush of wind from below, is non-existent.
Comfort is an important key asset for this motorcycle jacket, so much is clear. The relatively long zipper at the sleeve ends provides a fit that works. It also allows you to play with the use of the motorcycle gloves and wear them over or inside the sleeves. A little higher than that, it’s the press studs that prevent you from having to ride along with sleeves flapping (without lining, without membrane).
There are double and adjustable centring straps. Right below that, you can also see the vertical zips that prevent your motorcycle jacket from bulging during the ride. Bering has equipped the Halifax motorcycle jacket with certified elbow and shoulder protection. You can integrate an optional CE-certified back protector in the designated compartment in the back.
The fluorescent accents on multiple sides form ‘the signal’, referring to the Bering logo. Extra attention (from other road users) will go the horizontal band on the upper arm, which is invisible during the day but very effective as reflective material.
