The 3-in-1 Lucano Lady motorcycle jacket has been designed to perform from the very first up to and including the very last day of the calendar year. It adjusts to the weather conditions like a chameleon. When combined with the eponymous motorcycle trousers, this is a versatile companion.
The Lucano Lady is a 3-in-1 with an exterior made from 400D ripstop. Solid and sturdy, with a long service life without feeling like sanding paper. In crucial places, Modeka doubled the layer to optimise the effect. Excellent and because looks are important too, the style and design of the Lucano Lady is relatively clean. Even though this is still an adventurous touring motorcycle jacket, the line pattern emanates a certain elegance.
A removable Humax membrane acts as the first water and wind-tight buffer underneath the outer layer. You can quickly zip and unzip it, which is also true for the thermal lining. These three layers together create a stern package without becoming too bulky or heavy.
A versatile 3-in-1 that you can wear every day of the year obviously requires sufficient ventilation options. Opening up the large, roll-down panels on the chest (AirBoost) is enough to realise that the wide mesh panels allow for lots of airflow. The less prominent direct ventilation openings on the shoulders and back provide that little extra.
With a whole range of customisation options (centring the waist, an adjustable stud on the collar and straps on the upper arms) you can definitely find the perfect fit even when the membranes and thermal linings are staying at home. The touring cut – three-quarter length – is not that distinct. The Lucano Lady is even relatively short for a touring jacket. However, the fear of wind and cold getting in from underneath is unjustified: Modeka integrated a well-fitting (type of) elasticated kidney belt for that very purpose.
A motorcycle jacket of this calibre needs sufficient storage space: two wide pockets in the front (Velcro) that double as slash pockets (stud), a storage compartment on the back, an ID-pocket on the forearm and plenty on the inside.
The standard impact protection consists of B-PROTECT shoulder and elbow protectors. You can easily fit in an optional, CE-certified back protector. The reflective accents are inconspicuous during the day.
