The Shelby 3 Lady SK are skinny fit – and in this case, you can take that literally. REV’IT! uses a new, extremely stretching material that links safety to comfort. The ultimate end result is that it creates a second skill feel.
Just enough to keep the blood pumping, fashionable and a definite eye-catcher. Moreover, the Cordura PWR|Hyperstretch has been furnished with Coolmax and Thermolite, which – according to REV’IT! – is an absolute gamechanger. Motorcycle trousers made from one single layer that have still been awarded an AA classification, that’s quite the improvement. Earlier Shelby versions had to make do with one safety level below that. Better and safer, that might be the best way to describe this Shelby 3 Lady SK.
Proper motorcycle jeans link that safety level to a number of other specific features that add more comfort while you ride your motorcycle. The front pockets – in the same set-up as traditional jeans – have reinforced edges. The button, zip and belt loops remain as familiar as ever.
The height-adjustable knee protector is a SEESMART CE level 1 type. Slender and tight, and preformed. In very tight-fitting motorcycle jeans trousers like these, the light curvature of the knee protector is a bonus. Even more when – as you can see here – it is well-vented and fits seamlessly (literally) into the motorcycle jeans of this REV’IT! generation. These types of protectors are tailored and have a specific left and right side. Also new in the Shelby 3 Lady SK is the standard presence of hip protectors, which is also part of the upgrade to safety level AA.
We have always liked the reflective strip that only appears when you flip over the pant leg’s border. You wear these combined with a pair of sneakers and a hoodie or leather motorcycle jacket. Thanks to the Safeway 2 belt, you can combine these tight, protective and trendy motorcycle trousers with every REV’IT! motorcycle jacket you want.
