The Sand H2O motorcycle trousers – designed to be combined with the matching motorcycle jacket – have been given an update. These motorcycle trousers apply the same high standard as the eponymous motorcycle jacket, delivering a complete adventure outfit with the versatility of a Swiss pocket knife.
The Sand H2O motorcycle trousers are excellent, also on their own. The most important innovation is probably that you can wear the waterproof membrane over the actual motorcycle trousers. A true enrichment because the waterproof membrane on the outside keeps water away from the actual motorcycle trousers, that can hence stay light and comfortable.
So, wind and waterproof, hardwearing, ventilating, with lots of storage space and ease of use, those features haven’t changed. The Hydratex|3L membrane guarantees waterproofness and is supported by optional reinforcement of the comfortable thermal lining. The actual motorcycle trousers remain a hardwearing and solid polyester construction. By removing the membrane and the lining, you create two direct openings via the ventilation zippers. Depending on your needs, you can cut these openings in half.
The stretch fabric above the knees enhances the wearing comfort and movability of these all-round motorcycle trousers. Anti-slip material on the seat ensures a decent sitting position. The back is a little longer than the front, to always be sure of proper protection, even in that typical riding position.
The standard supplied and adjustable SEEFLEX™ CE-level 2 knee protectors and SEESMART™ CE certified hip protectors are in-house designed by REV’IT! and have already earned more than their stripes in the field of impact protection and wearing comfort. The belt with buckle in the back of the lower leg, right under the knee, is a special structure to keep impact protectors in the correct position in the event of a crash.
Judicially placed reflective strips on the calves enhance visibility in darker circumstances. They are assisted by two new reflective strips a little higher up.
At the bottom, the trouser legs flare open thanks to a mid-length zip. Velcro strips – wider and larger than before – allow for a perfectly customisable fit, to wear them over or inside your motorcycle boots. To close the Sand H2O motorcycle trousers at the top, REV’IT! now uses a press stud that cannot open spontaneously due to lateral tension, and a zipper. There are customisation options in the waist in the shape of elasticated straps and length-adjustable belts. The wide, closeable side pockets allow you to store what you need to bring. Just like with the Sand H2O motorcycle jacket, the Velcro closures were replaced by a zip.
The Sand H2O is ready to be fitted with the also recently renewed Strapper suspenders and the short and long connecting zips allow you to combine them with the REV’IT! Sand H2O motorcycle jacket.
