The Mondo 2.0 is a waterproof Softwill motorcycle jacket that performs at its best in an urban environment. Soft on the outside, with a waterproof nature and extraordinarily comfortable. A high-flyer.
The Mondo 2.0 is largely made of stretchable softwill fabric, with an integrated Raintex ML membrane, that feels very comfortable – even to the skin – and that can be supplemented with a (removable) thermal lining. That’s already saying – and ‘covering’ – a lot. The style and design are a perfect match to the typical metropolis or city commute, which means you are as able to wear the Mondo 2.0 to walk around in or to enter a store or an office, as you are to ride around safely.
If you don’t want a fluttering hoodie, you can use the Hoodie Holder in the back or you can simply remove it with the zip.
The relatively sober exterior hides a number of clever Macna features that enhance the usability and comfort of the Mondo 2.0. There’s the Easy cuff system that uses a zip closure – instead of loops and press studs – to keep all the different layers inside the sleeves apart. The reflective Side Eye elements are also products of the Macna drawing table and they give you visibility without being too obvious during the day. The various loops on the inside are part of the Electric Power Guide or EPG for short. They help you guide the electrical wiring of any heated clothing parts through the interior of the Mondo 2.0 comfortably.
There’s a card pocket on the forearm, as well a chest pocket and two larger pockets below. You can also store a few things on the inside.
The standard impact protection is RISC level 1 on the shoulders and elbows. The optional back protector is sold separately and can be easily fitted in the designated compartment.
Two zips at the back of the Mondo 2.0 prevent the typical bulging effect – if you open them, it will be easier to take your seat on the saddle comfortably.
To prevent your motorcycle jacket from creeping up, the Belt Loop was added: the solid webbing runs (invisibly) from the collar to the lower back, where it can be attached to the belt of your motorcycle jeans.
