The Ultimax 2.0 is the flagship of the Macna range. A full-option laminated motorcycle jacket and the possibility to add extras is something that will captivate every motorcycle rider’s attention.
The versatility of the Ultimax 2.0 is a bonus on its own. This all-seasons motorcycle jacket performs at its best under all circumstances, which is usually thanks to the laminated exterior. The waterproof Raintex membrane has been laminated directly inside, against and/or to the outer fabric to ensure water just slides off without weighing the motorcycle jacket down. This doesn’t need to be compensated at all because the synthetic nubuck, Soft Flex and Repelex that make up the exterior is a wear and tear-resistant guarantee for a sturdy, comfortable and not-too-heavy motorcycle jacket. Furthermore, a laminated motorcycle jacket is quick-drying; hence, always the comfortable option.
Macna doesn’t limit itself to the materials: the Ultimax 2.0 has a dual zip at the front, with both zips placed slightly off-centre behind one another. Thanks to this zigzag construction, water can’t find a way in. The Ultimax 2.0 also has two waterproof Aqua stop ventilation zips at the front. If you add the (deployable) hood (to be worn underneath your helmet) and the Storm Hood that creates a waterproof connection, it should be clear that the Ultimax 2.0 should be able to keep every drop out.
Underneath that laminated exterior, there’s a removable thermal lining and if you’re going in the opposite direction, you’ll want to use the wide ventilation openings on the chest and on the back. Thanks to the Thermax technology you can even replace the thermal lining by a heated version, such as the Macna Nucleo. Combined, these elements cover almost the entire climatological and meteorological spectrum. In other words: if you can’t do it with the Ultimax 2.0, we recommend you stay home.
Vision 2C LED lamp and/or a Macna Vision Tech vest to the Ultimax, allow you to fully customise the Ultimax 2.0. This doesn’t even include the supplied adjustable elements such as straps, press studs and zips at the waist, flanks, sleeves and collar. Or the collection of technical elements that are more and less conspicuous in the Ultimax motorcycle jacket. The Quick Access Puller that allows for easy access to the inner pocket at the chest. The Coat hanger at the back is practical, which is also true for the Easy cuff system at the sleeves that eliminates fiddling with loops and all those different layers of lining. The entire construction inspires lots of confidence. The Electric Power Guide is also worth mentioning: EPG helps you guide any electrical wires for heated gloves neatly through your motorcycle jacket.
The Ultimax 2.0 is a motorcycle jacket you’ll really want to discover.
Impact protection consists of RISC level 2 elbow protection and level 2 shoulder protection. You decide on the CE-certified back protector. Chest protectors can be fit in easily as well.
There’s plenty of storage space. The most remarkable (and largest) storage compartment is situated at the back, at the base, where you can keep the entire thermal lining. Other options are the slash pockets in the front (take a look at their specific positioning), the Napoleon pocket or the smaller pockets inside the thermal lining.
A short connecting zip creates an easy and sensible combination with the Macna Ultimax motorcycle trousers.
