The Macna Air Hybrid 2.0 is a remarkable mesh motorcycle jacket that actually isn’t one. This 3-in-1 should be able to perform at its best, always and everywhere.
This Macna Air Hybrid 2.0 is definitely unique, primarily thanks to its design because instead of opening up a ventilation panel, you simply unzip almost the entire front (and part of the back) to reveal the true mesh jacket. It’s an unusual choice, that’s for sure.
However, the Macna Air Hybrid 2.0 seems to have been constructed with a regular hardwearing textile exterior. The combination of Fybrex, Calorite and Dynamic Stretch provide the look and feel of an adventurous touring motorcycle jacket. The list of ingredients also includes 3D mesh, which is usually revealed by opening a ventilation zip somewhere. Not this time. In this case, you unzip almost half your motorcycle jacket – going underneath the pockets in the front. It’s definitely efficient! The exposed mesh panels are great at their jobs and are assisted by the ventilation openings on the upper arm.
With all this emphasis on the Summer comfort system PRO, we’d almost forget that the Macna Air Hybrid 2.0 in its most complete version is equipped with a removable Raintex ML membrane and a removable thermal lining. So, three jackets in one, instead of a 3-in-1. Furthermore, everything is ready to replace the supplied thermal lining by a heated Nucleo jacket, creating an infinite usability. From the north pole to the equator, or just about.
The Macna Air Hybrid 2.0 can be equipped with a Vision 2C LED lamp and/or a Macna Vision Tech vest. There are a number of distinct adjustable elements such as straps, press studs and zip at the waist, flanks, sleeves for individual customisation. There’s the Quick Access Puller, that allows for easy access to the inner pocket on the chest, the Coat hanger in the back and the Easy cuff system at the sleeves that eliminates tampering with loops and different layers of lining. The entire construction inspires confidence. The Electric Power Guide is also worth mentioning: EPG allows you to guide any electrical cables for heated motorcycle gloves (or heated jackets) efficiently through your motorcycle jacket.
The only thing left to say is that apart from the storage options in the front and on the inside, there’s another small compartment on the left sleeve. And lastly, the Macna Air Hybrid 2.0 doesn’t have a specific preference when it comes to trousers. The connecting zip leaves all options open.
