The Torido by Macna is a mesh motorcycle jacket and a motorcycle backpack in one. Excuse me? That’s right, there’s no writing error here: Macna developed this specific design for dual use.
There’s also a lady version, called the Torida.
The Torido is largely made of (hardwearing) 3D mesh and micro mesh. The non-mesh parts are minimal. This is principally a very well-ventilated Airburst motorcycle jacket. Complete motorcycle material with RISC level 1 impact protectors on the shoulders and elbows. If you want to fit in a CE-certified back protector, you can integrate it easily. There are two slash pockets and a chest pocket, all of which can be closed off with a zip.
Next. The full-length zip on the inside allows you to turn the Torido inside-out, turning it into a backpack. Two carrying straps and a helmet loop will appear and although the backpack will be partially filled with protectors and sleeves, there’s still more than enough space to add a few things.
This is ultimately a very convenient way to not have to drag your motorcycle jacket and motorcycle helmet through town all the time. After that exploration or visit, you simply turn everything inside-out again and you head home safely.
There is maintenance clothing and then there is clothing maintenance. Good, solid motorcycle clothing is an investment in comfort and personal safety. So invest in its maintenance after your purchase and enjoy your gear for longer.
