The Motique doesn’t immediately radiate traditional motorcycle vibes, which was a conscious decision. This unique, waterproof, feminine trench coat by Macna has been specifically designed to offer decent protection to lady bikers in the city – on their motorcycles, against the varying weather conditions.
The Motique is made of soft and stretching softwill fabric. A fixed, integrated Raintex ML membrane serves as the waterproof buffer while the thermal lining underneath is removable and separately wearable. You can easily remove it with the zip as soon as temperatures rise. Evidently, you can also choose to replace it by the heated Nuclea jacket. So, a 2-in-1, in the same style as the trench coat but with the same functionalities as a motorcycle jacket. This combination is a successful one. Not on the racetrack but definitely in the city.
The Motique motorcycle jacket contains a number of typical Macna elements. The sleeve ends with Easy cuff system that uses a zip to keep all the different layers in place, is very useful. If you choose to integrate heated gloves or any other heated garment (like that Nuclea) into your outfit, you’ll be happy with the loops of the Electric Power Guide.
This motorcycle jacket has been designed with plenty of eye for detail. From the almost unnoticeable card pocket on the forearm, through the belt loops and the finished collar, up to the ventilated flap on the chest, they all look good and well-finished. On the sides, Macna went for subtle, reflective Side Eye elements, which was a good choice too.
The standard impact protection is RISC level 1 on the shoulders and elbows. The optional back protector is sold separately and can be easily fitted in the designated compartment.
