The Daunta RTX motorcycle glove is a motorcycle glove for winter. Relatively thin, relatively short but with adequate protection. This version, the Daunta RTX, has been specifically designed for female hands.
The presence of quite a lot of reflective Night Eye fabric matches the expectations with the dark and cold weather type usually associated with these motorcycle gloves. The Daunta RTX are made of goatskin, with padding, insulation and a waterproof Raintex membrane – hence the RTX in the name. This is what turns this shorter motorcycle glove into an ideal companion for colder riding conditions and winter rides.
Knuckle protection can be found in the shape of EVA, which reminds us more of rubber than of solid impact protection. You can roll the Daunta RTX into a little ball without issue. There’s a TPR protector in the palm of the hand that has almost the same – soft – properties as the rest of the protective material.
This motorcycle glove has been fitted with the Macna Ergothumb construction, which means that the thumb and index finger are constructed from one single panel. This reduces the number of seams and pressure points, enhances grip and comfort and provides a clean look.
The tips of both index fingers are furnished with heat-conductive fabric. Thanks to the Touch Tip you can operate touchscreens without having to remove your motorcycle gloves.
There’s a Velcro strip at the wrist to ensure a close fit and to keep everything neatly in place.
There is maintenance clothing, and then there is clothing maintenance. Good, solid motorcycle clothing is an investment in comfort and personal safety. So invest in its maintenance after your purchase and enjoy your gear for longer.
