Even though the long cuff might suggest otherwise, the Tanamax is an adventurous and well-ventilated motorcycle glove for summer.
The Tanamax doesn’t hide its sense of adventure. The EXO RISC knuckle protector and the RISC TPR finger protectors are prominent and pronounced – which is perfectly fine. They contribute to the adventure appearance of this motorcycle glove. The fact that this reminds you of motocross, is no coincidence. It ensures that the thumb, palm and little finger get plenty of protection too.
The combination of goatskin, Spandex, synthetic nubuck and Superfabric was a deliberate decision. In the palm, the slider is made of RISC TPU and carbon fibre. The double layers of material deliver both grip and wear-resistance. The rough elements are Superfabric, something that is also used in the motorcycle racing world. In short, reinforcements are on par.
If you take a look at the fingers, on the inside, you will notice the construction with the seams on the outside. This fabrication is comfort-increasing, which is always a bonus in a motorcycle glove that mostly shows how tough it can be. One of Macna’s features is the Ergothumb construction, which means that the thumb and index finger are constructed from one single textile panel. This reduces (once again) the number of seams and pressure points, while ensuring a clean look. The 30° Brace used to operate the closure at the wrist, is a Macna in-house developed bonus. This system provides sufficient flexibility with at the same time guaranteeing a well-fitting motorcycle glove. The cuff itself reinforces that feeling with the double closure.
Thanks to the Touch Tip you can operate all touchscreens without having to remove your motorcycle gloves.
