The Argos RTX is a midseason waterproof motorcycle glove. Its utility look and style match a number of Macna motorcycle jackets and Macna motorcycle trousers, but then again, this Argos RTX can be worn on its own just as well.
And you can wear them often. If you have heated grips, you can wear the Argos RTX through a soft winter easily. The combination of goatskin, softwill and synthetic nubuck forms an exterior that is wear and tear resistant.
The true weapon of the Argos RTX, however, can be found right underneath that, in the form of a waterproof Raintex membrane – and now you know what the RTX stands for. The clever drains in the motorcycle glove prevent water from accumulating between het membrane and the outer layer.
On the back of the hand, what stands out is the division between glossy and matte material. The shock-absorbing, flexible RISC 3D knuckle protector and the layer of temper foam on the fingers are also trying to catch your eye. What’s most remarkable visually, though, is the 30° Brace that closes at the wrist. The system provides sufficient flexibility while ensuring a proper and well-fitting closure of your motorcycle glove. The cuff itself reinforces that feeling with a closure that allows you to wear the Argos RTX inside your sleeves.
In the palm of the hand, you see the RISC Carbon TPU protection and an EVA thumb protector. The goatskin guarantees excellent grip and a proper steering feel.
Another one of Macna’s features is the Ergothumb construction, which means that the thumb and index finger are constructed from one single textile panel. This reduces the number of seams and any pressure points, while ensuring a clean look.
Thanks to the Touch Tip you can operate all touchscreens without having to remove your motorcycle gloves.
