The Ulmex motorcycle glove is a summer motorcycle glove that is clearly related to the utility style Macna has introduced to a large part of its ‘street’ collection. As a result, the Ulmex motorcycle gloves go really well with the Tryton motorcycle jacket, the Rebelite and a couple others.
The unique style of the Ulmex underlines this concept. One half made of leather, the other of textile, with a striking appearance of the back of the hand. Here, the leather used is goatskin, the textile listens to the name Softwill – everything else is synthetic nubuck.
In the palm of the hand, the slider is made of RISC TPU and carbon fibre. The dual layers of material deliver both grip and wear-resistance; the layer of EVA foam on the fingers and thumb also contribute to that. The rather soft knuckle protector is RISC 3D foam impact protection.
If you take a look at the fingers, on the inside, you will notice the construction with the seams on the outside. This fabrication is comfort-increasing, which is always a bonus in a motorcycle glove that mostly shows how tough it can be. One of Macna’s features is the Ergothumb construction, which means that the thumb and index finger are constructed from one single textile panel. This reduces (once again) the number of seams and pressure points, while ensuring a clean look.
Thanks to the Touch Tip you can operate all touchscreens without having to remove your motorcycle gloves.
The short cuff with Velcro closure and the ventilated leather panels emphasise the warm nature of the Ulmex motorcycle gloves.
