This motorcycle glove for summer, made from goatskin and Spandex, is short, light and yet sufficiently padded to be safe and comfortable.
The goat leather covers most of the palm while the (light, ventilated, stretching) Spandex covers the back of the hand. The right material in the right place is a good first indicator of a first-rate motorcycle glove.
The suffix ‘Lady’ is the clear distinction by Macna to show that this version has been specifically designed with the female ‘touch’ in mind. Smaller and slenderer, but with the same intentions.
Due to the absence of membranes and other layers, the Obtain Leather Lady is not waterproof and thus clearly intended for summer rides. This feeling is emphasised by the tricot lining.
The impact protection is almost as soft-natured as the rest of this summer motorcycle glove. The knuckle protector is RISC 3D protection, made of temperfoam. Flexible, shock-absorbing and with proper impact distribution, this is more than adequate for advanced touring and commuting. The rest of the protective material matches this; even the EVA filling in the palm of the hand is not rigid or firm.
Just like almost every recent Macna motorcycle glove, the Obtain Leather Lady also has the specific Ergothumb construction, where thumb and index finger have been structured from one and the same piece of fabric. No seams and hence, no pressure points – only comfort-increasing.
The fingertips of each motorcycle glove have been fitted with heat-conductive fabric. Thanks to the Touch Tip, you can operate every touchscreen without removing your motorcycle gloves.
You close off the short cuff by means of a Velcro strip.
