Description

This relatively long and specific version of the motorcycle glove focuses mainly on ventilation. Air Ride II, the name says it all. There’s also a DRY version that adds a waterproof element in the mix.

The more specialised and ventilation-oriented approach of the Air Ride II motorcycle gloves make them a little more suited for summer and the warmer parts of the year. The exterior in goatskin and stretch delivers a comfortable but mainly hardwearing motorcycle glove. The latter is important, even though it’s good to know that your fingers and the back of the hand offer a certain ventilation. Just like the space between the knuckle protector and the back of the hand creates a ventilated effect.

The Air Ride II is a motorcycle glove that is comfortable to wear while holding the handlebars and that offers decent impact protection. This is provided by the soft finger protectors and a knuckle protector finished with Temperfoam. No rigid cups, but good and decent, with a sense for the natural movement of a hand. The palm of the hand was given extra layers of goatskin. This inspires confidence, for sure – an important asset on a motorcycle.

The closure of the Air Ride II is a double one: beneath the palm of the hand, a Velcro strip keeps the motorcycle glove in place while the cuff was provided with an additional Velcro to take care of a proper closure over or possibly inside the sleeve. The cuff amply covers the wrist.
