The EXO-Z1 by Scorpion is a light and modern jet motorcycle helmet, ideal for daily scooter rides and summer motorcycle trips. Safe, high-quality, comfortable and at a sharp price. The EXO-Z1 by Scorpion is ECE R22.06 certified.
The Scorpion Ultra TCT Pre-Preg multilayer motorcycle helmet shell combines fibre glass with polyresin, delivering a weight of – give or take – 1,300 grams which is definitely okay for a strong, shock-absorbing, relatively complete motorcycle helmet like the EXO-Z1. We say ‘relatively complete’, because there is obviously no chin piece.
The top ventilation provides a smooth airflow where fresh air can enter and exit, ensuring a steady moisture balance and a dry and cool motorcycle ride. The air is channelled out through the ventilation ducts in the back of the EXO-Z1 motorcycle helmet. On its way out, the air stream is supported by the KwikWick lll lining. The removable, washable, replaceable and odour-controlling interior is soft and hypoallergenic. Integrated foam cushions provide a proper fit and sufficient support.
The transparent Scorpion EXO visor offers excellent vision and is fitted with Pinlock MaxVision technology to smoothly integrate Pinlock® anti-fog lenses. Both the transparent visor and the tinted sun visor are coated and scratch-resistant. You can effortlessly replace the transparent visor without the use of additional tools.
You can easily integrate speakers in the EXO-Z1 by Scorpion.
You close the Scorpion EXO-Z1 with a quick-release buckle. Cheek pads can be removed by emergency workers to limit the risk of neck and spine injury.
For maintenance of this helmet we recommend S100 helmet and visor cleaner for the exterior. To clean the interior, without removing it, you can use S100 helmet interior cleaner. New visors have received a water-repellent treatment. This treatment is less effective after some time. Restore the water-repellent effect with Rain-X anti-rain spray.
Safety above all! Never ride with a scratched or dull visor. Especially at night, scratches cause blinding reflections from streetlights and headlights of oncoming vehicles. This effect is even more pronounced in rainy weather. It is best to replace a scratched or dull visor as soon as possible. Planning a longer trip? Then don't forget to take a replacement visor with you. Never ride in the dark with a tinted visor.
