This helmet comes standard with a clear visor. Tinted and mirror visors are available as an option.
This SCORPION EXO-930 has a double homologation and is therefore a real 'traveler'. Versatile touring use, it's obvious. But also scooter use, because the chin can be removed. The double P/J-homologation - as full-fledged full-face helmet and equally full-fledged jet helmet - is interesting and well thought out. Pay particular attention to the red P-button behind the left hinge of the visor: it blocks the chin piece in the open position. We think that's a good idea.
SCORPION manufactures the EXO-930 in polycarbonate, with two helmet shells to fit all helmet sizes. The slider of the top ventilation can be operated perfectly with or without motorbike gloves.
The transparent visor is ready to mount a Pinlock® lens with Maxvision and you'll find it in the box as well. With the term 'Speedview’ SCORPION is looking in the direction of an integrated sun visor. The slider can be found at the bottom left.
Kwickwick 3 is about the interior: fully removable, washable, and hypoallergenic, this helmet interior regulates internal moisture in a way that is more than reassuring. Even in warm conditions, by the way. When you are in a text about SCORPION motorcycle helmets the word 'Kwikfit', you know as a spectacle-wear that you can rest assured: this motorcycle helmet is perfectly equipped for that, with cutouts for your glasses.
A wide and well-fitting neck rim and the adjustable micrometric buckle illustrate that attention was paid to the details. The wind curtain chin is removable.
The SCORPION EXO-930 comes with a five-year warranty.
For maintenance of this helmet we recommend S100 helmet and visor cleaner for the exterior. For cleaning the interior without removing it, you can use S100 helmet interior cleaner. New visors have received a water-repellent treatment. This treatment is less effective after some time. Restore the water-repellent effect with Rain-X anti-rain spray.
Safety above all! Never ride with a scratched or dull visor. Especially at night, scratches cause blinding reflections from street lights and headlights of oncoming vehicles. In rainy weather this effect is even more pronounced. It is best to replace a scratched or dull visor as soon as possible. Planning a longer trip? Then don't forget to bring a replacement visor with you. Never ride in the dark with a tinted visor.
