The Alias motorcycle jacket from Bering is a very comfortable, breathable motorcycle jacket. Straightforward and simple. No fuss, sleek style, no complications – just put it on and ride.
The basic Alias touring motorcycle jackets do come in a few different shapes, sizes, and versions. For men and women, available in traditional sizes or in King and Queensize versions; there is a fit for every motorcyclist (male/female) and body type.
This 'regular' Alias motorcycle jacket is made from Hard Mesh and Fibretech 600D, two durable materials derived from recycled polyester fibres. The concept is simple: one lets the wind through, while the other provides sufficient base protection. And that’s about it in terms of design. No layers, no membranes. No waterproofing or windproofing, which goes without saying, but we’ll mention it for completeness.
The ‘regular fit’ enhances the motorcycle jacket's sleek style. Comfort seems to come as standard, and the collar, waist, and sleeve cuffs feature Velcro, allowing for a bit of adjustment. Visually, what stands out most is the Bering ‘signal’ – their logo – also because it’s made from reflective material.
Two outer pockets and an inner pocket provide the necessary storage space.
In terms of impact protection, the Alias motorcycle jacket offers the level of safety you'd expect from an affordable, breathable jacket. MotoGP is great, but this one also holds up with a solid foundation. That foundation comes in the form of ALPHA EN1621-1 Level 1 removable elbow and shoulder protectors. The elbow protectors are height adjustable, and on the back, everything is set up to add a CE-certified back protector if desired.
A connecting zipper allows the jacket to be combined with various Bering motorcycle trousers.
