The vents are easily adjustable via sliders, which can be operated even while wearing motorcycle gloves.
As a full-face helmet, the above is okay but you can easily change this SMK Gullwing with a quick motion into a modular helmet by flipping it open. Thanks to its dual P/J homologation, it is certified for use in both open and closed positions, providing versatility in all riding conditions. The centrally positioned red lever on the chin bar allows for effortless operation.
For added safety, the P/J certification requires the chin bar to be lockable in the open position. This is done using a red slider located beneath the right hinge. Additionally, when opening the chin bar, the clear visor automatically closes, regardless of its previous position. The wide, transparent visor is scratch-resistant and prepared for a Pinlock lens. The SMK Gullwing as a built-in sun visor as well, operated via a slider on the left side.
The SMK Gullwing includes a removable chin curtain and breath deflector, along with speaker pockets, which are located inside the interior, which is removable, washable, antistatic, and moisture-wicking, ensuring easy maintenance.
The micrometric buckle system ensures a secure fit, while the padded and adjustable chin strap enhances comfort. Thanks to the quick-release strap, the SMK Gullwing can be opened effortlessly.
Stylish, safe, and budget-friendly, the SMK Gullwing is a modular helmet built to withstand daily use. And for those who have been wondering about the name—‘Gullwing’ was the nickname of a legendary 1950s car with distinctive gullwing doors, which inspired the design of this flip-up motorcycle helmet.
Maintenance tips:

- The outside and the visor of your helmet should be cleaned with S100 Helmet and visor Cleaner.
Safety above all! Never ride with a scratched or dull visor. Especially at night, scratches cause blinding reflections of street lights and headlights of oncoming vehicles. This effect is even more pronounced in rainy weather. It is best to replace a worn visor as soon as possible. Planning a long trip? Then don't forget to take a replacement visor with you. Never ride in the dark with a tinted visor.
