Side bags for motorcycles
If there is no pannier system available for your motorcycle model, universal soft side bags provide you with a solution. They are made from durable textile and are ideal as a temporary luggage solution, but also for longer trips. They are generally attached to the saddle or frame with Velcro straps, and should fit almost any vehicle. With some vehicles caution is required, if they end up close to the exhaust(s) and/or the rear wheel!

Some important tips
- For motorcycle models that are less suitable for side bags, our supplier "GIVI" may have designed saddlebag mounting brackets.Select your motorcycle here and then search in the overview for GIVI saddlebag mounting brackets. No saddlebag brackets in the results for your motorcycle? Then side bags might not be the most suitable luggage option for your motorcycle. In that case, saddlebags may offera solution.
- If your bike is equipped with an aftermarket exhaust which is positioned differently from the original, please consider the following advice:
- Respect a distance of at least 5 cm between the bottom of the bags and the top of the exhaust. Exhaust gases should not be directed at the bags and should remain at least 15 cm to 20 cm away from the bags.
- With the protection cloth you can protect your bike from being scratched by the side bags.
When choosing side bags, the dimensions of the bags are very important. Each product's dimensions can be found below the tab "Technical Specifications" on the product page. First measure your motorcycle, and determine the maximum width and height of the bags. Take into account the exhaust (as mentioned above) and the position of the indicator lights. Your indicators must always remain visible.
